Happy New Year to everyone!!!!!!

Well, the end of the year is here. Holy Moly where did it go???? Now it is time to set resolutions......OH MY!! Where do I start?!?!?!?!
I guess my list is in no particular order really.

• I would like to start reading and studying my Bible more and having a closer relationship with God. I have been slacking and it shows.
  
• My shop needs revamping and I have been slacking alot on it too. I am thinking of expanding my items to include crochet things. I love to crochet and have made many things from adult afghans to tiny crocheted crosses. I am working on a few things now and will show them here first.
• The most famous one of all resolutions........ Lose more weight. I have lost 20 pounds already and feel better but now I need to tighten up what I have and that will help those last few pounds go away. I am hoping anyway.
  
• Keep a cleaner, neater house. I have clutter everywhere. I have really slacked there too. I need to set me up a routine and stick with it this year. I have tried www.flylady.net before and am thinking about trying it again.
  
• Be a better wife, mother, sister, daughter and anything else that I am. I think I am doing good as it is, but there are areas that I need to improve. I don't want to be perfect but just a bit better than I am right now.
  
• Make 2009 Christmas gifts ahead of time. I wanted to do so much this year that I didn't get done. I plan on starting this year right after the first of the year.
  

I could probably go on and on, but I don't want to bore you with my list of stuff. My resolutions are probably like everyone elses......... be a better person, lose weight, be more successful, and on nad on.......

I wish those that made their resolutions for this new year coming, the best of luck and blessings in the year and years to come.

Been a while.......

Sorry for not posting much in the past few weeks. I have been busy with everything but hair bows. I have had a very sick family. The week of Christmas was horrible. It didn't even seem like Christmas. Everyone but my oldest DD got extremely sick. I hadn't been that sick since I was preggo with my kids. It was awful. But we are all better now.

Our Christmas plans were to leave on Christmas Eve to make the 360 mile trip to my parents house. Well, none of us were in any shape or form to be traveling. So we decided to wait a day. The next day we weren't much better. So we went on Friday and we made it! I didn't think we probably would but we did. I actually enjoyed myself and I think everyone else did too. My girls were disappointed that they missed their cousins. My brother and his family came to my parents on Wed. and left on Friday morning. I love my brother and his family but they are so loud and there is not much discipline there at all. So they are all unruly. But hey I love them anyway. I have a neice that I have only seen in pics and she will be 1 in February. They live in Kansas and we live in Oklahoma and my parents live in Colorado. We all can't coordinate our time off to get together to see each other. LOL. Maybe some day.

I haven't been very creative here lately. Not feeling good tends to take away my creative side. Hopefully I will get to feeling better soon and will get my creative side back again. I am having a itch to crochet. I love to crochet and have crocheted many things from afghans to tiny crosses. I have been thinking about expanding my shop out to listing crocheted stuff. We will see.

Well, I guess I better get busy on cleaning and laundry. Don't want to but it has to be done.

BBBBRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Man oh man is it cold here!!!!! At 3:30 this afternoon it was 80 degrees and in 30 minutes it dropped to 49 degrees. The wind hit and it changed so super fast. I could literally sit and watch our little weather atomic clock change the temp just about every second. It has temp gauge that measures to the point degrees like 39.8 degreees. As I sit here and type I am shivering at thinking how cold it is and will be in the morning when my girl gets on the school bus. BBRRRR!!!!

We will be bundling up good in the morning. The weather guy also said that there could be a chance for ice and freezing rain late monday nite and early tues morning. Great!!! NOT!!!!

Well, I am off to cuddle on the couch and to watch a good movie with my DH.

Finally put up our Christmas tree!

I went and dug out our small selection of Christmas decorations. I had been waiting on my DH to do it but he never did so I decided that I would. We won't be home for Christmas this year so he thinks that we don't need to decorate that much. We will be going to my parents house. I wanted to atleast put up our tree for the girls and they loved decorating it. LOL

Most everything is put in clusters and on the silver beaded string on the tree. My youngest refused to put ornaments on the tree branch. Don't know why, just refused. I thought about redoing it after they went to bed, but then thought that that is the way they want to do it so I left it. It is special to me and them. This is the first Christmas that both of them are really understanding what it is about.

Feeling a little bit better about my business.....

I sold one bow to a lovely lady the other day. I hope she likes it. =-) She is a wonderful photographer. Visit her site at HeatherLynn Photography.

I am still trying to figure out what to do with my business but not totally giving up. I am looking at other avenues to sell my bows at and some look pretty good. If I decide on one or two I will be sure to let you know.

Now to figure out what is for supper..........
anyone have any suggestions????
